It was convenient (less typing) for the Chat commands. (such as
A2 B4 C3)Perhaps we can still use letters for the candidates, and receive chat commands with textual grades, like
A Poor B Good C Passable.The grading ought to be provided to each participant, somehow.
For SMS participation, as @guhur suggested we could perhaps send an SMS in response to any received SMS, with the poll details (question, grading, candidates), and a confirmation that it worked if a command has been parsed.
